On the official Outronox.com website, the pre-order for The Art of Self-Harm (2023) is now live.
The film is distributed by TetroVideo and directed by Jonathan Doe, known for the extreme films Carving the Cadaver, The Degenerates, Barf Bunny and Defilement of a Porcelain Doll, already distributed by the label.
The Art of Self-Harm is available in the Numbered Certified Mediabook edition (Cover A and Cover B), with slipcase, Blu-ray, 20-page Booklet and 4 cards.
English language and Italian/French subtitles.
The movie T-Shirt and magnet are also available on the website, and it will no longer be possible to purchase the Mediabook edition once the pre-order ends.
OUTRONOX is the new hub under which, starting this month, the TetroVideo and Goredrome Pictures brands will be distributed through www.outronox.com.
The Art of Self-Harm is a shockumentary film about “White Gardenia,” a group of self-harming artists who explore pain through extreme performances. Through interviews and footage, The Art of Self-Harm aims to understand the inspirations and motivations behind their “extreme body art”.
Cast: Allison Belmont, Jonathan Doe, Cher Nevin, and Daniel Valient.
Daniel Valient (White Gardenia) also directed Mutilation Theatre, the episode “Yummy Fur" in Vore Gore and the episode “Allison's Mouth fills up with Blood and Semen" in XXX Dark Web.
