Loredana Bertè debuts as a voice actress in the The Addams Family, the dark animated film (made in CGI animation) to be released in Italian theaters on Oct. 31, 2019. The 1950s-born Italian singer-songwriter will lend her voice for the first time to a film character namely the rebellious Grandma Addams who, in the Eagle Pictures film, leads a very unusual rock band.
The rest of the Italian voice cast has not yet been revealed. The original voice actors, on the other hand, include: Oscar Isaac (Gomez), Charlize Theron (Morticia), Finn Wolfhard (Pugsley), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Nick Kroll (Uncle Fester), Bette Midler (Grandma) and Allison Janney (Margaux Needler).
The Addams Family features Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan (the directors of Sausage Party), who also produced it together with Gail Berman and Alex Schwartz.
Revised by Matt Lieberman, the script instead is by Pamela Pettler (The Corpse Bride, Monster House).
The film will debut in Italian theaters on October 31, 2019, distributed by Eagle Pictures.
For the Addams' appearance, the two filmmakers were inspired by the original drawings of U.S. artist Charles Addams, the creator of the famous characters. Their film tells the story of how Gomez and Morticia met and fell in love.
Plot: the Addamses must confront Margaux Needler, a shady reality TV host, just as the ghoulish family is preparing to receive relatives for an important clan reunion.
