For the past few days, some images from the ABC's of Death 2 (left here is the one from the Soska sisters episode), the American horror anthology consisting of twenty-six short films dealing with different ways to die, directed by as many filmmakers from around the world.
Peculiar to this project is the title of each segment referring to one of the letters of the Anglo-Saxon alphabet.
As with the previous anthology The ABC's of Death, made in 2012, several well-known names from the horror film scene also appear in the new chapter. It is therefore impossible not to notice Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, the sensual and transgressive sisters Soska and Álex de la Iglesia.
The directors of The ABC's of Death 2 are thus the following: Julian Barratt, Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, Bill Plympton, Rodney Ascher, Shion Sono, Erik Matti, Kristina Buozyte and Bruno Samper, Larry Fessenden (The Last Winter), Vincenzo Natali (Splice, Cube), Todd Rohal, Steven Kostanski, Marvin Kren (The Station), Jim Hosking, Hajime Ohata, Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (Inside, Livid), Chris Nash, Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary), Julian Gilbey (A Lonely Place to Die), Dennison Ramalho, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, Jerome Sable, Robert Morgan, Alejandro Brugués, Álex de la Iglesia (The Last Circus, El dia de la Bestia, Witching and Bitching), Marcus Dunstan (The Collection) and E.L. Katz.
The ABC's of Death 2 is scheduled for release this year.
The anthology is produced by Tim League and Ant Timpson in collaboration with associate producers Todd Brown, Mitch Davis, Marc Walkow and Ted Geoghegan.
