Plot: Little Louis (Aiden Longworth) plummets off a cliff on the very day of his ninth birthday. The child, who has escaped death eight other times already, survives but remains in a coma. Dr. Allan Pascal (Jamie Dornan) takes an interest in his case, determined to save his life and discover the secret behind his miraculous survival. His involvement, however, will lead him to fall in love with Natalie (Sarah Gadon), Louis' mother.

The 9th Life of Louis Drax è l'adattamento cinematografico dell'omonimo romanzo scritto da Liz Jensen e il cui titolo italiano è "La nona vita di Louis Drax".
