With Sony Pictures comes online the official trailer for Thanksgiving (USA - 2023), the slasher horror film by Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno, Knock Knock).
The film is the cinematic extension of the fake trailer of the same name featured in Grindhouse - Death Proof (2007) by Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez and will arrive in U.S. theaters on Nov. 17 with TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media Group (Scream).
In Thanksgiving, on Thanksgiving Day, a murderer sows horror and death in the small town of Plymouth, Massachusetts, the very place where the famous national holiday originated.
The cast includes Addison Rae, Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy, Lethal Virus, Scream 3), Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim (Zombies), Nell Verlaque, Gina Gershon (Chucky), Tim Dillon and Rick Hoffman (Hostel).
The screenplay of Thanksgiving instead is a collaboration between Jeff Rendell and Eli Roth. The latter also appears in the production of the film along with Roger Birnbaum.
