Eagle Pictures has released, online, the official Italian trailer for Thanksgiving (USA - 2023), the slasher horror film directed by Eli Roth, the director of Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno and Knock Knock.
The film is the cinematic extension of the fake trailer of the same name featured in Grindhouse - Death Proof (2007) by Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez and will arrive in Italian theaters on November 16.
Plot: The small town of Plymouth, Massachusetts, is shocked by a tragedy that occurred in a shopping mall during Black Friday. Exactly one year later, during Thanksgiving celebrations, a mysterious serial killer begins killing locals following a specific plan for revenge.
Soon, the murders will turn out to be part of a terrible plan related to the famous holiday.
In the cast of Thanksgiving star Addison Rae, Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy, Lethal Virus, Scream 3), Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim (Zombies), Nell Verlaque, Gina Gershon (Chucky), Tim Dillon and Rick Hoffman (Hostel).
The screenplay of Thanksgiving instead is written by Jeff Rendell in collaboration with Eli Roth. The latter also appears in the production of the film along with Roger Birnbaum.
