TetroVideo has announced August releases #06 and #07. These are the extreme horror Xpiation (Italy - 2018) and of Late Night Double Feature (Canada - 2015), a horror anthology consisting of two segments and a frame episode.
Both will be available in Limited Editions. BOOKBOX DVD + Poster.
Xpiation is the concluding chapter of the "Death Trilogy", the extreme Italian saga produced by Domiziano Cristopharo and in which are included American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice and Torment.
Written by Andrea Cavaletto (Hidden in the Woods, Hyde's Secret Nightmare), Xpiation features Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Doll Syndrome, Red Krokodil) as director, who also produced it together with Stefano Bastiani.
The protagonist of the story is a mysterious dark lady (Chiara Pavoni) in the company of a drug addict (Simone Tolu) and a Hispanic man (Emanuele d'Elia) bound and gagged inside an abandoned building. Here a camera will capture the pain the woman will have the stranger inflict in a game of perversion that incorporates sadism, suffering and cruelty.
In the cast of Xpiation: Chiara Pavoni (Demonium, Hyde's Secret Nightmare, P.O.E. 4 - The Black Cat, Jack the St. Ripper), Simone Tolu and Emanuele d'Elia.
The film's soundtrack is by Antony Coia (House of Flesh Mannequins, The Obsessed).
TetroVideo will distribute Xpiation With subtitles in Italian, English, French and German.
Late Night Double Feature (Canada - 2015) is a choral horror film consisting of two segments ("Dinner for Monsters" e "Slit") and by a frame episode ("Doctor Nasty's Cavalcade of Horror”). Quest'ultimo emula uno show televisivo intervallato da fake trailer e da pubblicità fittizie.
I due segmenti sono introdotti dal Dr. Nasty (Brian Scott Carleton) accompagnato dalla sua sexy infermiera (Jamie Elizabeth Sampson). Il primo, "Dinner for Monsters", è un cannibal movie diretto da Zach Ramelan (“Dead Rush” in Zombieworld) che lo ha anche scritto insieme a Raven Cousens e Kelly Michael Stewart.
The protagonist of the story is a chef who is contacted by an aristocratic couple to prepare a meat dinner at their home.
In the cast: Nick Smyth, Jeff Sinasac and Raven Cousens.
In "Slit" instead a man gets paid to inflict injury and suffering on people who want to feel pain. One day, however, the professional will meet a client who will ask him for something more.
"Slit" is written and directed by Torin Langen (Malleus Maleficarum, Fondue).
The cast includes Colin Price, Caleigh Le Grand and Rich Piatkowski.
The frame episode, on the other hand, "Dr. Nasty's Cavalcade of Horror", is directed by Navin Ramaswaran (One More for the Road) on a script by R.X. Zammit and Kelly Michael Stewart. The latter also produced the film and is the author of one of the anthology's fake trailers namely "Night Clown."
The title of the second fake trailer is "Rates!!!" (by Jason Tannis) while John Michael Forbes handled the third one, "Encephalopithecus," instead.
TetroVideo will distribute Late Night Double Feature In English with Italian and French subtitles.
