According to early rumors, TetroVideo has acquired a new horror film described as a true splatterfest packed with pornography, gore, and brutality.
Currently in post-production, the project is being presented as a love letter to the bloodiest and most extreme cinema of the 1970s and 1980s, drawing inspiration from both American and European splatter and Japanese gore cinema.
The film is said to be an Italian production that has yet to premiere anywhere in the world and, according to early reports, draws inspiration from the more extreme side of Japanese cinema. For now, details remain shrouded in mystery, as neither the title nor the director's name has been revealed. Both are expected to be announced soon.
The first three images released appear to confirm those intentions. The first depicts a blonde woman being brutally dismembered by a group of the living dead inside a cemetery. The second clearly evokes Japanese tentacle erotica, featuring young women subjected to sexual torture by tentacled creatures. The third image, meanwhile, shows a woman restrained by mechanical prosthetics within a surreal, alien-looking environment that appears almost extraterrestrial.
According to the distributor, the film represents something unlike anything seen before and could even signal a new beginning for Italian horror cinema.
While waiting for more details to emerge, all that remains is to take a closer look at these first unsettling images and await the reveal of both the film’s title and its director.
