Tetro Underground: ROT is the first title in the new TetroVideo series

TetroVideo announced "Tetro Underground", a series dedicated to films produced until 1999, titles that have never enjoyed an official release, films that are still unreleased, unobtainable or have unjustly ended up in oblivion.
Designed for those nostalgic for cinema of the past, the series will feature a vintage slipcase (+ Amaray) reminiscent of that of old VHS.

Earlier today the label unveiled the first title that will inaugurate the Tetro Underground series in July, also unveiling its artwork done by Shin Nagai. It is ROT (1999) to be directed by Marcus Koch (100 Tears, American Guinea Pig: Bloodshock).
Considered a punk manifesto by the underground master of special effects, Rot stars Billy Scam, Tiffany Stinky and Joel D. Wynkoop.

The story revolves around a dangerous virus that can rot the human body: Sarah reveals to Muzzy that she contracted a deadly virus called ROT after having sex with a corpse inside the local funeral home. Now Muzzy is also infected.
Slowly the two begin to rot alive, spreading the insidious disease that melts flesh to friends and enemies and any individual who comes in contact with them. Sarah and Muzzy's problems do not end there, however.
The man responsible for their living death and thus the horrible epidemic that is spreading is Dr. Robert Olsen, a deranged scientist who worked in the government's germ warfare research center. As the epidemic spreads like wildfire, the FBI and other secret government agencies will also become involved.

Recall that Marcus Koch has done the special effects for several horror films including Circus of The Dead, Don't Look in the Basement 2, We Are Still Here, Frankenstein Created Bikers and American Guinea Pig: The Song of Solomon.
