As announced by Damien Leone on his official Facebook page, the wait for Terrifier 2 will be longer than expected. The director's goal was to complete the film and release it in time for Halloween but the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak has slowed production. Currently filming is drawing to a close and the new goal is to complete the film by early 2021.
Written and directed by Damien Leone (All Hallows' Eve) and starring Lauren LaVera (Clinton Road), Terrifier 2 is the sequel to Terrifier (2016).
In this new chapter, David Howard Thornton again plays Art the Clown, the psychopathic clown who first appeared in All Hallow's Eve and then in Terrifier, also by the same director.
They complete the cast of Terrifier 2 Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Terror Tales, Victor Crowley, Death House), Jason Lively (Dimension Terror) and Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5 - The Revenge of Michael Myers).
Plot: After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County to hunt down a girl and her brother on Halloween night itself. From then on, several murders will occur in the town, and upon discovering the true nature of the evil killer, the two brothers will have to fight to stay alive.
