The new trailer for Terminator: Dark Destiny (aka Terminator: Dark Fate) is dedicated to all the characters in the film, including the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and Grace (Mackenzie Davis).
Terminator: Dark Destiny is the sixth installment of the science fiction saga started in 1984 by James Cameron with Terminator and will debut in Italian theaters on October 31, 2019 with 20th Century Fox Italy.
Directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool), Terminator: Dark Destiny is the direct sequel to Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (1991).
Plot: 27 years after the destruction of Cyberdyne Systems, Skynet sends Rev 9, a new Terminator from the future with the task of eliminating young Dani Ramos. To save herself, the girl will have to rely on the help of Sarah Connor and an old T-800.
In addition to the aforementioned actors, the cast also includes Gabriel Luna, Brett Azar, Diego Boneta, Natalia Reyes, Steven Cree, Rochelle Neil, James Barriscale, Fraser James, and Edward Furlong (Terminator 2 - Judgment Day, Stoic)
The screenplay of Terminator: Dark Destiny was written by Josh Friedman in collaboration with David S. Goyer, Billy Ray and Justin Rhodes while James Cameron, the creator of the franchise, appears on the crew as a producer.
