This month, in addition to the Romanian found footage Be My Cat: A Film for Anne, TetroVideo will also distribute Tales to Tell in the Dark (Italy - 2020), the horror anthology consisting of three episodes directed by Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Doll Syndrome) and Lorenzo Zanoni (OLC: Final Contagium).
Tales to Tell in the Dark will be available in only 100 copies in an ultralimited bookbox edition with DVD, double-sided poster and two cards at a price of 24.90 each. English-language edition with French, Italian and German subtitles.

Il film è un horror a base di zombie e fantasmi vendicativi legati a oggetti maledetti. Ogni racconto è introdotto, nell'episodio cornice, dal “Custode delle memorie perdute” (interpretato dallo stesso Lorenzo Zanoni), un bizzarro narratore che ha le sembianze di un cardinale in decomposizione.
Questo personaggio racconterà la storia del coltello presente in "Reveniens", of the razor in "A Snake with a Steele Tongue" and of the pendant in "Jinxed".
Tales to Tell in the Dark consists of the extended versions of "Reveniens" e "A Snake with a Steele Tongue", two segments previously included in other choral films but here enhanced by new soundtracks and new cuts.
"Reveniens" is written by historic Italian screenwriter Antonio Tentori (A Cat in the Brain) while the screenplay for "A Snake with a Steele Tongue" is by Davide Chiara.
Infine "Jinxed", l'episodio inedito, è scritto da Pasquale Scalpellino (Ill, 7 Sins) ed è diretto da Domiziano Cristopharo e Lorenzo Zanoni.
