Wild Eye Releasing has released the new trailer and artwork of Tales of Poe (USA - 2014), l'antologia horror diretta da Bart Mastronardi (Vindication) e dall'attrice e regista Alan Rowe Kelly (I'll Bury You Tomorrow, The Blood Shed). The above label will distribute Tales of Poe on DVD and digital HD next October.
Presentato in anteprima mondiale all'Egyptian Theater di 
Hollywood, il film è stato premiato in diversi Festival. L'horror antologico Tales of Poe trae spunto dalle opere letterarie di Edgar Allan Poe ovvero da due racconti del terrore ("Il cuore rivelatore" e "Il barile di Amontillado") e dall'oscura poesia "Dreams". Stando a quanto affermato dai due registi, i tre episodi che compongono l'antologia offriranno un viaggio upsetting In a macabre and crazy world.
Il cast gode della presenza di ben cinque scream queen: Adrienne King (Venerdì 13, L'assassino ti siede accanto), Caroline Williams (Non aprite quella porta 2, Halloween 2 del 2009, Hatchet 3), Amy Steel (Ginny in L'assassino ti siede accanto), Debbie Rochon (Tromeo & 
Juliet, Wrath of the Crows, Model Hunger) and Lesleh Donaldson (Birthday of Blood, Funeral Home, Curtains).
The names of the other actors are as follows: Randy Jones, Desiree Gould, Brewster McCall, Joe Zaso, Michael Varrati, Susan Adriensen, and Carl Burrows. Also in the cast is Alan Rowe Kelly who also handled the screenplay along with Bart Mastronardi and Michael Varrati.
