Momentum Pictures has released the trailer and poster for. Swallowed, the horror film that marks the return to the directing booth of American Carter Smith, best known for directing Ruins 2008.
Written by Smith himself, Swallowed stars Jena Malone (Ruins, The Neon Demon), an actress who also recently starred in the highly anticipated Consecration, the religious horror film by Christopher Smith (Creep - The Surgeon, Triangle).
The story of Swallowed follows two friends who will try to survive a nightmare of drugs, bugs, and horrible intimacy.
In addition to Jena Malone, the cast includes Mark Patton (Nightmare 2 - Revenge), Cooper Koch (They/Them), Roe Pacheco, and newcomers Jose Colon and Michael Shawn Curtis.
The film has been rated Rated R and will arrive directly on streaming platforms on February 14, 2023.
