Luca Guadagnino and Dakota Johnson, director and lead actress, respectively, unveiled the first images of Suspiria at CinemaCon in Las Vegas triggering very strong reactions in the audience.

Nello stesso momento si esibisce anche un'altra giovane ma i suoi arti si storcono spaventosamente e il suo tronco si spacca in due (pare che nella scena abbondino sangue e urina).
The plot of the remake of Suspiria (Italia - USA - 2018) è fedele a quello originale girato da Dario Argento. La storia invece è ambientata nella Berlino degli anni ’70 e dà rilievo alla figura di Mater Suspiriorum.
In Suspiria, Dakota Johnson is Susie Bannion, a young American who moves to Berlin to join the prestigious Markos Tanz Company. Soon after her arrival, however, Patricia, one of the girls in the dance company, disappears under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, sEight the guidance of Madame Blanc, Susie fa enormi progressi. The remaking of Suspiria features Luca Guadagnino (Melissa P., Bigger Splash) as director while the screenplay is by David Kajganich. Amazon Studios financed the film together with K Period Media while, again Amazon, will handle distribution in U.S. theaters.
It is scheduled for theatrical release in 2018.

In a cameo, as Anke, there will also be. Jessica Harper, the lead actress who played Susie Bannion in the 1977 Argentine masterpiece.
The film's soundtrack is by Thom Yorke (Radiohead).
