Summer of 84 will debut in U.S. theaters on August 10 while it will be available for video on demand two weeks later.
Plot: Fifteen-year-old Davey Armstrong (Graham Verchere) is convinced that his neighbor, a policeman, is responsible for the murders that have rocked the town. With this disturbing but at the same time also fascinating conviction, the boy will experience the electrifying and adventurous summer of 1984 and, with the help of his three best friends, investigate the reclusive lawman. The naive kids, however, will end up coming up against a very dangerous reality.
In the cast of Summer of 84 there are Graham Verchere (Fargo), Judah Lewis (The Babysitter), Caleb Emery, Tiera Skovbye, Rich Sommer, Cory Gruter-Andrew, Aren Buchholz, Shauna Johannesen, Jason Gray-Stanford and Susie Castillo.
Matt Leslie, the film's co-producer, co-wrote the screenplay with Stephen J. Smith.
