Succubus (Denmark - 2012) is the new horror film by Danish director and actor Kim Sønderholm. It is an approximately 18-minute short film currently available on ekkofilm.dk. The Danish magazine Ekko has included. Succubus in the list of short films that will compete to be in the top 10. Of the screenplay of Succubus Lars Egholm Fischmann was in charge, while Jan T. Jensen's name appears in the production. Photography is by Allan Vælum, a film dedicated to him following his untimely death, which prevented him from seeing the complete film. The successful make-up of the creature, which you can see in the photo above left, was done by Anders Lerche and Rusty Apper. The music, on the other hand, is by Rusty Apper. The cast includes Kat Herlo, Kim Sønderholm, Lars Bjarke, Nadia Bond, Miriam Yeager, and Steen Jaszczak.
The story centers on Emma (Kat Herlo), a young archaeology student who, following excavations in Syria, comes into contact with a mysterious object whose fumes she accidentally breathes in. From that moment Emma undergoes both a psychological and physical change. Emma is now a succubus, a dangerous seductress of men.
