The horror short film Studded Nightmare (aka Cauchemar capitonné) is Official Selection at the DarkVeins Horror Fest 2017 for the Best Short category.
Produced, written and directed in 2016 by newcomer Jean-Claude Leblanc, this Canadian short enjoys a fairly macabre and tension-filled story.
The protagonist is Jean-François (Sébastien Huberdeau), a man who comes into possession of a chair on which a man has committed suicide. Once brought home and seated on it, Jean-François will experience terrifying nightmares intertwined with pleasurable erotic journeys that culminate in terrible visions of death. Terrified, he will get rid of the cursed chair, which, however, will end up at his friend Aly's house.
In the cast: Sébastien Huberdeau, Maude St-Pierre, Michel Lapointe, Dominique Arganese and Jeremy Lacombe.
