The TV series Stranger Things, this year in its second season, beguiles its large fan base with the release of seven new posters paying homage to cult horror and sci-fi films of the 1980s. Stranger Things 2 will be set in 1984 and will pop up on Netflix, also in Italy starting Friday, Oct. 27, earlier than the previously announced date of Oct. 31, on Halloween.
New faces this season will include Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen as Roman, a magnetic young woman grappling with the grief of losing a child, the well-known Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings) as Bob Newby, the manager of Hawkins RadioShack, and finally Paul Reiser (Alien 2) who will play Dr. Owens.
