Online the new poster and trailer of Sting, the Australian horror film about the giant arachnid directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, the director of Road of The Dead and Wyrmwood: Chronicles of the Dead.
The film will arrive in U.S. theaters on April 12, 2024.
Plot: New York City. On a cold and stormy night, a strange egg falls from the sky from which a spider emerges. The mysterious creature is retrieved by Charlotte, a 12-year-old comic book enthusiast who decides to take care of it, unbeknownst to her parents.
Her new friend, however, begins to grow out of all proportion, as does his appetite for blood, becoming a threat to both the pets and everyone close to the young girl.
In the cast of Sting appear Ryan Corr (House of the Dragon, The Water Diviner), Alyla Browne (Three Thousand Years of Longing, Nine Perfect Strangers), Robyn Nevin (Top of the Lake), Penelope Mitchell (Hellboy), Noni Hazlehurst (The End) and Jermaine Fowler (Retreat).
Sting is produced by Jamie Hilton and Michael Pontin of See Pictures along with Chris Brown of Pictures in Paradise.
