New image for Spiral: Saw's Legacy, the new installment of the horror franchise Saw. Produced by Mark Burg and Oren Koules, the film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV) on a screenplay by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg (Jigsaw).
The story of Spiral: Saw's Legacy is conceived by comedian Chris Rock, who in this project appears not only in the cast but is also an executive producer along with Daniel Heffner and the same creators of Saw That is, James Wan and Leigh Whannell.
Plot: Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brazen detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner William Schenk (Max Minghella) investigate heinous murders that have brought the city's horrific past to the surface.
Unwittingly ensnared in an ever-deepening mystery, Detective Zeke will find himself caught up in the sick and complicated game of the killer who sowed death and terror years earlier.
In the cast of Spiral: Saw's Legacy (aka Spiral: From the Book of Saw) are Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight), Max Minghella (The Black Hour, Horns), Zoie Palmer, Marisol Nichols (Scream 2), Dan Petronijevic, Nazneen Contractor, K.C. Collins and Edie Inksetter.
The US release date of Spiral: Saw's Legacy Is scheduled for May 21, 2021.
