Lionsgate has released the official poster for the reboot Spiral: Saw's Legacy, the new chapter in the horror saga Saw. Produced by Mark Burg and Oren Koules, the film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, and Saw IV) and will debut in Italian theaters on May 14, 2020 with 01 Distribution.
The screenplay is by Pete Goldfinger in collaboration with Josh Stolberg (Jigsaw) and is based on a story conceived by comedian Chris Rock, who in this project appears not only in the cast but is also an executive producer along with Daniel Heffner and the same creators of Saw That is, James Wan and Leigh Whannell.
Plot: Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner William Schenk (Max Minghella) investigate heinous murders reminiscent of the city's horrific past.
Unwittingly trapped in an ever-deepening mystery, Detective Zeke will find himself caught up in the killer's sick game.
