Online the new poster for Spiral: Saw's Legacy (aka Spiral: From the Book of Saw), the new chapter of the horror saga Saw.
The story is conceived by comedian Chris Rock, who in this project appears not only in the cast but is also an executive producer along with Daniel Heffner and the same creators of Saw That is, James Wan and Leigh Whannell.
Produced by Mark Burg and Oren Koules, Spiral: Saw's Legacy It is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, and Saw IV) and stars Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight) and Chris Rock.
The film will be released in US theaters on May 14, 2021. The Italian release date is currently unavailable.
Plot: Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner William Schenk (Max Minghella) investigate murders that have brought the city's horrific past to the surface.
Unwittingly ensnared in an ever-deepening mystery, Detective Zeke will find himself caught up in the sick and complicated game of the killer who years earlier sowed terror and death in the city.
In the cast of Spiral: Saw's Legacy There are also Max Minghella (The Darkest Hour, Horns), Marisol Nichols (Scream 2), Dan Petronijevic, Zoie Palmer, Nazneen Contractor, K.C. Collins, and Edie Inksetter.
The screenplay, on the other hand, was written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg (Jigsaw).
