See no Evil 2, the sequel to The eye collector (See no Evil) directed in 2006 by Gregory Dark, is ready for the general public. Directing this project are Jen and Sylvia Soska, authors of the unhealthy, crazy and wonderful film American Mary (2012) with Katharine Isabelle.
Like the previous chapter, See no Evil 2 is a slasher movie in which playing the role of Jacob Goodnight is again the American wrestler Kane (Glenn Jacobs).
In The Eye Collector Jacob Goodnight is killed at the Blackwell Hotel but in See No Evil 2 he comes back from the dead. In fact, the psychopath awakens in the morgue and seems not to have lost his bloodthirsty passion and murderous fury. Here he will begin to terrorize and dismember the medical students inside the hospital.
The screenplay for the film was handled by Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby, and Michael Luisi is the producer. The cast includes Glenn Jacobs (The Collector of Eyes), Danielle Harris (Camp Dread, Hatchet II, Hatchet III, Halloween - The Beginning, Halloween II, Left for Dead), Chelan Simmons (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Final Destination 3), Katharine Isabelle (American Mary, Ginger Snaps trilogy), Michael Eklund, Greyston Holt and Kaj-Erik Erikson.
See no Evil 2 will be released directly on DVD and Blu-ray this year (rumored in October), distributed by Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
As a reminder, the Soska sisters are involved in the project. ABC's of Death 2 scheduled for release in 2014.
