killingAfter an international premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival, an American premiere in San Francisco at the Another Hole in the Head Film Festival and a presentation at the Shock Stock Horror Convention in London, The Killing Games has been distributed worldwide via Apple Itunes and Google Play through Typhoon Films.

Initial rejections by organizers of some festivals that The Killing Games is too violent to be presented at their events did not demoralize director Barry J. Gillis, who publicly expressed his disappointment by attracting the attention of other organizers who were quite happy instead to give the film its due.

The Killing Games opens with a brutal murder by Son of Satan (Edwin Autridge) and Dirty Jesus (John Scott), a crime witnessed by the very young Elysia (Yunona Anders). The two sadistic serial killers, however, become aware of the witness and begin to hunt him down. Meanwhile, the girl's father, Birdman, who cares for his invalid wife, begins to worry when he does not see his daughter return home.
Alex (Alex Sharpe), the leader of a gang of thugs, decides instead to visit an old friend he has not seen in years...

The Killing Games is a Canadian horror film written, directed, starring (as Drake Edwards) and produced by Barry J. Gillis, here in his second feature film after Wicked World 2009.

A release date for the DVD and Blu-ray formats is not yet known.
The Killing Games appears to be quite disturbing, in fact it highlights the worst human impulses by bringing them to light with the goal of terrorizing and shocking viewers by turning them into victims.
Barry J. Gillis' film has been described as extreme because of the high rate of brutality, savagery and sadism with which it is imbued.
