Andi Matichak (Halloween, Halloween Kills) appears in the first images of Son, the new horror film written and directed by Ivan Kavanagh, the director of Tin Can Man and The Canal. L'attrice è uno dei protagonisti di Son insieme ad Emile Hirsch (Killer Joe, Autopsy, C'era una volta... a Hollywood).
Son will debut in U.S. theaters and arrive on video on demand platforms on March 5, 2021 with RLJE Films.
Plot: In search of a safe place, Laura (Andi Matichak) flees the city with David, the eight-year-old son whom a group of strangers attempted to kidnap by breaking into the house days earlier. After the traumatic episode, the child becomes seriously ill. To keep him alive, Laura lets her maternal instincts carry her away by committing unspeakable acts but soon must decide how far she is willing to go to save her son.
