After announcing a few days ago the news about the distribution of Somnia (USA - 2015) nei cinema italiani, da qualche ora è stato diffuso, grazie a Midnight Factory, il poster ufficiale italiano del film (in basso a destra). Somnia (Before I Wake) will be shown in theaters in our country starting next May 25 thanks to Koch Media.
Directed by Mike Flanagan (Absentia, Oculus - The Reflection of Evil) on a screenplay by the director himself together with Jeff Howard, Somnia is a supernatural horror film whose story revolves around a child whose nightmares tend to materialize in the real world.
Plot: Eight-year-old Cody (Jacob Tremblay) is adopted by husband and wife Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane). The child is very quiet but tends to manifest from early on his terror of sleep. In fact, according to him, an evil presence disturbs his nighttime dreams, terrorizing him. The two adults attribute his malaise to the stress he has suffered from previous unsuccessful foster care attempts. Soon, however, they begin to believe him given the materialization of his dreams. The couple then decide to investigate their foster son's past.
The cast includes Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Dash Mihok, Jacob Tremblay, Annabeth Gish, Scottie Thompson, Jay Karnes, Lance E. Nichols and Justin Gordon.
