Somnia (aka Before I Wake), the horror film by Mike Flanagan (Absentia, Oculus - The Reflection of Evil), sarà disponibile per l'homevideo italiano dal 22 settembre grazie a Midnight Factory in un'imperdibile edizione DVD ma anche Blu-ray e digital download.
Somnia (USA - 2015) is a supernatural horror film whose story features a child (Jacob Tremblay) who is able to make his dreams materialize in the real world.
The film was released in our theaters last May 25.
The homevideo edition of Somnia è arricchita da un booklet esplicativo sul film e anche da un'innovativa traccia audio Earound. Trattasi di una tecnologia in grado di portare il suono del cinema in cuffia ovvero un formato audio che permette di avere un ascolto totalmente immersivo durante la visione del film.
Plot: Eight-year-old Cody (Jacob Tremblay) is adopted by husband and wife Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane). The child immediately manifests his terror of sleep: in fact, according to him, an evil presence disturbs his dreams, terrorizing him. The couple attributes his malaise to the stress he has suffered from previous unsuccessful attempts at foster care. When they notice that the little boy's dreams and even nightmares materialize, the two decide to investigate their foster son's past.
The screenplay of Somnia is edited by the director himself in collaboration with Jeff Howard.
The cast includes Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Dash Mihok, Jacob Tremblay, Annabeth Gish, Scottie Thompson, Jay Karnes, Lance E. Nichols and Justin Gordon.
