Release date announced for Smile 2, the sequel to Smile (USA - 2022), the horror film written and directed by Parker Finn (director of the shorts The Hidebehind and Laura Hasn't Slept).
In fact, Paramount Pictures has set the release date for October 18, 2024, just in time for Halloween.
Directing this new chapter will again be Parker Finn while cast and plot have not yet been revealed.
We remember you that Smile (2022) stars Sosie Bacon (daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick), here as Dr. Rose Cotter who, after witnessing a traumatic incident involving one of her patients, is haunted by strange and disturbing phenomena.
Slowly, terror will take over her life, forcing her to confront her past in order to escape a terrifying reality.
Smile grossed about $217 million worldwide against a budget of $17 million and debuted in Italian theaters 1l September 29, 2022.
