The horror film Slumber - The Sleep Demon (UK -2017) will be distributed in DVD and Blu-ray limited edition starting June 14 with Midnight Factory. From that date, the film will also be available for digital download. Directed by newcomer Jonathan Hopkins, Slumber - The Sleep Demon addresses the terrible phenomenon of sleep paralysis and stars Maggie Q (The Counting House, Priest).
Alice Arnolds (Maggie Q) is a doctor who specializes in treating sleep problems. She will try to protect an entire family from a demon that feeds on its victims during nightmares. In particular, she will diagnose one of the children with sleep paralysis, a disorder from which the doctor's younger brother suffered and which was the cause of his death.
