Scream Team Releasing handled the home video distribution (for the U.S. market) of The Sleeper (USA - 2012), l'horror che omaggia gli slasher degli anni '80, in particolare film come Black Christmas - Un Natale rosso sangue, Do not enter that house (aka Prom Night), Do not enter that college (aka The House on Sorority Row) e Girls Nite Out.
The Sleeper è già stato distribuito in DVD e VHS nel 2013 ma quest'anno gode di un'edizione HD che è già disponibile in versione combo (2 Blu-ray + 1 DVD) corredata da una corposa sezione dedicata agli extra.
The Sleeper is written and directed by Justin Russell (The Gremlin, Death Stop Holocaust) ed è interpretato da Brittany Belland, Ali Ferda, Ray Goodwin, Jason Jay Crabtree, Elizabeth Lane, Jenna Fournier, Riana Ballo e Tiffany Arnold. Nel cast è presente anche l'attrice e regista canadese Jessica Cameron, vista recentemente nell'horror sulla possessione demoniaca American Guinea Pig: The Song of Solomon.
Plot of The Sleeper: è il 1981 e le ragazze della Alpha Gamma Theta stanno organizzando una festa. Desiderose di diventare ragazze Theta, Amy (Brittany Belland) e la sua compagna di stanza Ava (Ali Ferda) raggiungono il party. Tra i presenti però c'è anche un ospite indesiderato. Le studentesse inizieranno a sparire una dopo l'altra e la polizia cercherà di bloccare la carneficina.
