Shudder has shared the poster and trailer for. Slapface (USA - 2021), the horror film written and directed by Jeremiah Kipp, an American independent filmmaker who has several horror films behind him including the body mutation short Painkiller (2014) and the feature film Black Wake, a Lovecraftian horror film directed in 2018.
Splapface is the film extension of the short film of the same name directed by the same director in 2018 and will arrive on Shudder on February 3, 2022.
Plot: After the loss of his parents, Lucas (August Maturo) goes to live with his older brother Tom (Mike C. Manning). Here the young boy will try to overcome the loss of his loved ones by establishing a dangerous relationship with a monster who lives in the woods...
The cast includes August Maturo (The Nun: The Calling of Evil), Mike Manning (Delirium), Bianca D'Ambrosio, Chiara D'Ambrosio, Lukas Hassel, Libe Barer, Mirabelle Lee, Dan Hedaya (Commando, Alien - The Cloning) and Mack Kuhr.
