Written and directed by Kapel Furman and Armando Fonseca, Skull: The Mask is a horror slasher billed as a "mystical slasher" and "Brazilian bloodbath" because of the massive doses of splatter and gore realized with abundant practical effects.
A trailer is available of the film, which can be found at the bottom of the article.

In Skull: The Mask the protagonist takes possession of an ancient mask that possesses him causing him to commit heinous crimes in the name of his god. Characteristics, these, that bring the film closer to Jason goes to hell (1993) by Adam Marcus.

Plot: In 1944, an artifact is used for a military experiment. It is the mask of the pre-Columbian god Anhangá, the executioner of Tahawantinsupay.
Today the evil object is in St. Paul, and by plagiarizing a human being, it will unleash carnage.

The cast includes Rurik Jr., Natallia Rodrigues, Wilton Andrade, Ivo Müller, Ricardo Gelli, Guta Ruiz, Gilda Nomacce, and Tristan Aronovich.
The film recently had its world premiere at the Chattanooga Film Festival.
