On the occasion of the world premiere to be held at the SXSW Film Festival next month, the official trailer for Sissy (2022), the revenge movie about bullying featuring Hannah Barlow and Kane Senes (Echoes of War) in the director's booth.
In Sissy, Australian actress Aisha Dee (The Nowhere Inn) plays Cecilia, a successful influencer. After a decade, she accidentally meets Emma (Hannah Barlow), who was her best friend in her high school days. The two were inseparable until Alex (Emily De Margheriti) came along.
After getting back in touch, Emma invites Cecilia to her bachelorette weekend at a remote cottage in the mountains. However, Alex will also be present at the party, which will bring back old and sad memories for Cecilia...
The film is produced by Lisa Shaunessy, John De Margheriti, Jason Taylor and Bec Janek.
Instead, Hannah Barlow, Yerin Ha, Emily De Margheriti, Daniel Monks, Lucy Barrett, Shaun Martindale, Amelia Lule, April Blasdall and Camille Cumpston complete the cast.
