Official trailer for Siren Song, a British film directed by newcomer Benedict Mart and written by Lisa Edwards, Brigitte Jean Allen and Fletcher N. Brown. This is a horror film with a feminist twist in which the main characters will deal with three dangerous sisters on an island. The women, as well as the title of the film, are reminiscent of the ancient Greek Sirens, enchanting and fascinating but extremely deadly figures.
The story sees food critic Dan (Matt Silver) join the mysterious Callie on an island where she runs a guest house with her two sisters Lydia and Tess. However, the young man notices that the guests there begin to disappear, realizing the true identity of Callie and her two sisters only too late.
Siren Song was filmed England and Cornwall. The director of photography is Tobias Marshall, and the editor is Tom Kemplen.
The premiere date and distribution date have not yet been officially announced, however, it is likely that Siren Song Is being released this fall.
It is unclear whether we will be given a chance to see mermaids in this film, or whether mentioning the mythological figure is just the title.
