On the occasion of the American Wondercon convention, the first teaser trailer of Sinister 2, sequel to the film written and directed by Scott Derrickson in 2012 and starring Ethan Hawke. Directing the sequel, which will see the light of day in U.S. theaters starting August 21, 2015, is Ciaran Foy, who has a few short and genre films behind him such as Darklight Hotel and Citadel.

The script for the film is by C. Robert Cargill, screenwriter of the first installment.
