Following Shark Exorcist and House Shark, comes another delirious shark-themed film viz. Sharkenstein. As the title already suggests, this is a hybrid that blends the more classic shark movie with Mary Shelley's novel "Frankenstein."
The film, to be distributed by Wild Eye Releasing, will be directed by Mark Polonia (Bigfoot Vs. Zombies, Splatter Farm) on a script by J.K. Farlew. Brett Piper and Anthony Polonia will instead handle special effects.
Abstract: In the final days of World War II, an experiment involving shark enhancement is destroyed by the Third Reich. Sixty years later, however, a small town is haunted and frightened by a fierce and horrible sea creature. Someone has in fact constructed a monster using anatomical parts belonging to the most dangerous creatures of the sea.
