The promotion of Shark - The First Shark (USA - 2018), the movie about the killer shark and starring Jason Statham (here as a rescue expert). A new poster has been released of the film that clearly pays homage to the cult The shark (1975) by Steven Spielberg.
Written by James Vanderbilt and directed by John Turteltaub, Shark - The First Shark (aka The Meg) will debut in Italian theaters on August 9, 2018.
Plot: An ocean submersible is attacked and damaged by a megalodon, a sizable shark that, until then, was considered extinct. The crew is trapped inside the vessel, which lies on the Pacific seabed. A Chinese oceanographer (Winston Chao) recruits Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham), a diver and water rescue expert, to remedy the dire situation. Jonas will risk his own life to save the crew from the same predator with whom he had clashed long ago and of whom he still retains sad memories.
