Lights Out - Terrore nel buio Will have a sequel. This is what was confirmed today and reported on the website Deadline. The producers of the successful Lights Out, after box-office success, they have already put a sequel to the film in the works, with a road open to a lengthy franchise. Lights Out - Terrore nel buio cost $5 million and grossed an impressive $27 million in the States and $35 million in the rest of the world, which is the reason why the production went the franchise route.
Lo stesso regista David F. Sandberg, ha confermato che tornerà in cabina di regia per dirigere il sequel del suo lungometraggio che, ricordiamo, è l'estensione cinematografica del suo omonimo corto (divenuto poi virale) girato nel 2013. Confermati per il sequel anche Eric Heisserer, lo sceneggiatore del primo film, e James Wan, ancora in veste di produttore.
