Three horror films are scheduled to be shown in Italian theaters this month.
Now in theaters is Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, while Speak No Evil and Never Let Go will arrive in theaters on September 11 and 26, respectively.

SEPTEMBER 5: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is the sequel to the cult Beetlejuice (1988).
Written by the creators of Wednesday (Al Gough and Miles Millar) and directed by Tim Burton himself (Batman, Edward Scissorhands), this new chapter will arrive in italian theaters on September 5, 2024, distributed by Warner Bros.
In the film, Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton are Lydia Deetz and Beetlejuice, respectively, the iconic characters they played in the 1988 cult film.
Plot: After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Netherworld is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it is only a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns again to wreak havoc.
Catherine O'Hara (Corpse Bride), Monica Bellucci (Bram Stoker's Dracula), Justin Theroux (Joker), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse, Poor Things) and Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) also star.
SEPTEMBER 11: Speak No Evil
Speak No Evil is the remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name and stars James McAvoy, in his third collaboration after Split (2016) and Glass (2019) with the Blumhouse production company producing the film.
Written and directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake, The Woman in Black), the psychological horror thriller Speak No Evil will arrive in Italian theaters on Sept. 11, distributed by Universal Pictures.
In Speak No Evil, James McAvoy is Paddy (James McAvoy), a family man who
hides a dark side. The man, who lives together with his wife Ciara and their mute son
Ant, invites Louise, Ben and their daughter to his country estate after meeting them on holiday.
What begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
In the cast there are also Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, and Dan Hough.
SEPTEMBER 26: Never Let Go
Never Let Go is the new horror film by Alexandre Aja, the director of High Tension (2003) and The hills have eyes (2006).
Produced by Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Alexandre Aja and Dan Levine, Never Let Go will arrive in Italian theaters on September 26, 2024 distributed by Notorious Pictures.
The film stars Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry (Gothika, Catwoman), here playing a mother who, along with her twin sons, has been tormented for years by an evil spirit.
Their only security is their home and a rope, but when one of the sons begins to doubt the existence of evil, the sacred family bond is broken, leading to a dangerous struggle for survival.
In the cast of Never Let Go there are also Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins, while the screenplay is by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby.
