The trash/horror/comedy short film PMS: Pre-teen Monster Syndrome (USA - 2015) is Official Selection at the The Optical Theatre Festival 2016 per la categoria "Best Trash Short".
Written and directed by the duo of Chad Farmer and Nathan Ludwig (Late Submission), the film deals with PMS and the spread of a new drug. Made on zero budget, PMS: Pre-teen Monster Syndrome is inspired by the Troma films and also by Street Trash (Horror on Bowery Street) by Jim Muro.
The film has been shown in many festivals and won several awards including: "Best Actress" and "Short Film" at Crimson Screen Horror Film Festival; "Best Actress," "Short Film" & "Best Grindhouse/Exploitation Short Film" at American GrindHouse Film Fest; "Best Short Film Director(s)" at HorrorQuest Film Festival.
Plot: A new drug spreads among girls. All those in the premenstrual phase, however, will turn into rabid mutant monsters. In big trouble will be a pimp who will see his sex business tilt.
Nel cast: Cory Simmons, Emily Rose Fuller, Cassie Lynn Dugger, Andrew Nentwig, Eric Phillips, William "DJ" Daniel ed Anthony Burke.
Chad Farmer is the producer of the film along with Charles Devin Hill
The music is by Warm Gadget while Brandon Murphree handled the special effects.
