Neck and Neck, the animated short film with strong horror overtones is Official Selection at the The Optical Theatre Film Festival 2016 for the Best Animation category. Screened at several festivals around the world, the film marks the directing and screenwriting debut of Englishman Shaun Clark.
The story takes its cue from Shakespeare's Othello and highlights the sentimental relationship that binds Othello and Desdemona for better or worse.
Plot: The intimate moment between Othello and Desdemona is interrupted by a phone call. After answering, Othello will never be the same: he will put aside sweetness and let jealousy and anger drive him.
