Among the many short films officially selected in the second edition of the The Optical Theatre Festival c'è anche il thriller sanguinario Bitch, Popcorn & Blood (categorie "Best Bizarre/Fantasy" e "Best Supporting Actress"). A dirigerlo è Fabio Soares, autore di altri cortometraggi ma non di genere horror. Nel cast di Bitch, Popcorn & Blood (Francia - 2015) segnaliamo la presenza di Jane Badler, nota ai più per aver interpretato Diana nella celebre serie TV Visitors (1983).

Trama: la timida Lily (Lise Gardo) lavora come cameriera presso il Salt’ n Sugar, un bar isolato in cui servono popcorn dolci e salati. L'arrivo di due sconosciuti nel locale cambierà per sempre la vita della ragazza.
