The horror feature film Plank Face (USA - 2016) is Official Selection at the The Optical Theatre Festival 2016 for the following categories, "Best Feature Film," "Best Director," "Best Actor" (Nathan Barrett) and "Best Supporting Actress" (Susan M. Martin). Saying this is Scott Schirmer, author of the extreme film Found and erotic horror Harvest Lake.
Plank Face is the second production from Bandit Motion Pictures. Last August the film had its world premiere at the Gateway Film Center cinema in Columbus, Ohio, and was recently officially selected for the "Best Feature Film" and "Best Actress" categories (Susan M. Martin and Ellie Church) at the Nightmares Film Festival.
Plot: Max (Nathan Barrett) and his girlfriend Stacey (Ellie Church) reach an isolated spot in the woods to spend the night in a tent. Nearby, however, lives a family of savages who will take a keen interest in the two young people.
The cast includes Nathan Barrett, Ellie Church (Harvest Lake), Dave Parker, Jason Hignite, Lexi Thompson,Brigid Macaulay, Susan Martin, and Brian Papandrea.
The director himself wrote the script for the film and produced it together with Brian K. Williams (Time To Kill).
Cinematography and soundtrack for the film are by Brian Williams. David Pruett was responsible for the special effects.
