Ninth, the medium-length film (39 min.) from Italy in the horror genre, is Official Selection at the The Optical Theatre Festival 2016 for the categories "Best Short Film" and "Best Supporting Actress." It is directed by Italian director Massimo Volta, who also handled the screenplay and production of the film (whose story is based on Stephen King's short story of the same name).
Plot: Locked up in prison, a young man recounts his life. He talks about when he was a student, his meeting with the beautiful Nona, a girl who changed his life. His romantic story arises along with the one that portrays him as a murderer.
In the cast: Mattia Chicco, Rebeca Willig and Mirko Paletti.
