The horror feature film Lilith's Awakening (USA, Brasile - 2016) è Selezione Ufficiale al The Optical Theatre Festival 2016. The film, an 80-minute b/w psychological horror film, is written, produced and directed by Monica Demes, a Brazilian director and screenwriter with a passion for esotericism, here on her first long feature under David Lynch.
The film is Official Selection at several festivals. Awards received include those for Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Cinematography at the Iowa Motion Pictures Awards.
Plot: Lucy (Sophia Woodward) is a sexually repressed girl, trapped in a dull marriage and working at a job she dislikes at the gas station owned by her father.
