Following the announcement at Comic-Con, WWE and Lionsgate today released the official trailer for See No Evil 2, sequel to Gregory Dark's 2006 film.
Directing it are the Soska sisters, Jen and Sylvia, who have already given an excellent taste of their cinema with American Mary. The screenplay for the film was handled by Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby, and Michael Luisi is the producer.
The Soska sisters' film picks up the story of the first chapter (The eye collector) from Jacob's death that occurred at the Blackwell Hotel. The body of the crazed murderer is taken to the morgue where, however, he comes back to life, unleashing his murderous rampage and spreading panic and death among the medical students. Also involved is a group of young people who have come to the scene to celebrate the birthday of their friend (Danielle Harris) who works at the hospital.
In the cast of See No Evil 2 appears Katharine Isabelle, star of American Mary. American wrestler Kane (Glenn Jacobs) returns to the role of Jacob Goodnight. The two actors are joined by Danielle Harris (Camp Dread, Halloween - The Beginning), Chelan Simmons (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Final Destination 3), Michael Eklund, Greyston Holt and Kaj-Erik Erikson.
