According to THR, director André Øvredal (Autopsy), producer Guillermo del Toro, and screenwriters Dan and Kevin Hageman are already working on the sequel to Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark (USA - 2019), l'horror uscito nei cinema del nostro Paese lo scorso 24 ottobre e che ha incassato oltre 100 milioni di dollari in tutto il mondo. Un risultato soddisfacente che ha spinto André Øvredal a occuparsi anche del sequel.
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is the film adaptation of the novel series of the same name (consisting of three volumes and published between 1981 and 1991) written by Alvin Schwartz and illustrated by Stephen Gammell. Twenty-nine scary stories are collected in the literary work, so it is possible that all this material will be exploited for the making of several sequels.
Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark is available in DVD and Blu-ray with Eagle Pictures.
