Lionsgate ha diffuso, online, la prima clip sulla nuova trappola di Saw X (USA - 2023), the tenth installment of the horror saga Saw conceived by James Wan and Leigh Whannell.
Prodotto da Twisted Pictures in collaborazione con Lionsgate e scritto da Josh Stolberg e Pete Goldfinger (gli sceneggiatori di Jigsaw and Spiral), il film è diretto da Kevin Greutert (Saw VI, Saw 3D – Il capitolo finale, Jackals – La setta degli sciacalli) e arriverà nei cinema italiani il 26 ottobre.
Il film è un prequel e la storia si incastra tra gli eventi di Saw and Saw II, with Tobin Bell again as John Kramer/Jigsaw, the franchise's iconic character, and with Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young.
Plot: John Kramer (Tobin Bell), a now sick and desperate man, decides to travel to Mexico to undergo a risky experimental surgery in hopes of finding a miracle cure for his cancer. However, John will be disappointed when he discovers that the entire operation is a scam on the weak. Precisely because of this, he will try to punish the scammers with new, ingenious and evil traps....
In the cast of Saw X ci sono: Renata Vaca (Midnight Family), Paulette Hernandez (Crown of Tears), Joshua Okamoto (Control-Z) e Octavio Hinojosa (Come Play With Me), Synnøve Macody Lund (Ragnarok), Steven Brand (The Sandman), Michael Beach (Dahmer).
