In Saw 10, U.S. actor Tobin Bell will once again play the role of Jigsaw / John Kramer, the iconic character from the horror saga Saw conceived by James Wan and Leigh Whannell.
The tenth installment of the franchise has been announced by Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures last August after Spiral - Saw's Legacy, the reboot directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV) and starring Chris Rock in 2021.
Directed by Saw 10 there will be Kevin Greutert (Jackals - The Jackal Cult), who previously directed Saw VI and Saw 3D - The Final Chapter.
Filming will start this month while the US release date has been set for October 27, 2023.
The plot has not yet been revealed but the studio is convinced that the Saw 10 will know how to win the hearts of fans of the saga, thanks in part to additional twisted and ingenious traps, as well as a new mystery to solve.

Recall that Jigsaw is killed in Saw III (2006), only to appear in flashbacks in later chapters.
